Bush’s Best® Vegetarian Baked Beans become a whole new Asian-inspired creation simmered with ginger, garlic, red pepper flakes, and spicy chili sauce. Serve it up as a side or use as a sweet-heat filling for vegetarian potstickers.

  • 5 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 3.75 Tbsp Garlic, Fresh
  • 2.5 Tbsp Ginger, Fresh, Minced
  • 1.25 Qt Bush’s Best® Vegetarian Baked Beans, Drained
  • 1.25 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • .33 tsp Sweet Chili Sauce
  • 1.25 tsp Kosher Salt
  • .33 tsp Ground Black Pepper

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 3.75 Tbsp Garlic, Fresh
  • 2.5 Tbsp Ginger, Fresh, Minced
  • 1.25 Qt Bush’s Best® Vegetarian Baked Beans, Drained
  • 1.25 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • .33 tsp Sweet Chili Sauce
  • 1.25 tsp Kosher Salt
  • .33 tsp Ground Black Pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Add vegetable oil to a large rondeau or pot and set over medium heat.
  2. Sweat garlic and ginger for 5 minutes or until fragrant.
  3. Stir in beans, sweet chili sauce, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  4. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring periodically.
  5. Serve 1/4 cup of sweet and spicy baked beans per person.
