  • 1.5 lb Applewood Smoked Bacon, ½-inch Diced
  • 3.33 lb Ground Pork
  • 3 Qt Yellow Onion, ¼-inch Diced
  • 3 Qt Tomato Sauce, Prepared
  • 3 cups Memphis Style BBQ Sauce, Prepared
  • 3 lb Smoked Pork Shoulder, Prepared, Pulled
  • 3 Qt Bush’s Best® Easy Entrées® Texas Ranchero® Pinto Beans, Drained
  • 3 Tbsp Kosher Salt
  • 3 tsp Ground Black Pepper

  • 1.5 cups Vegetable Oil
  • 1.5 lb Applewood Smoked Bacon, ½-inch Diced
  • 3.33 lb Ground Pork
  • 3 Qt Yellow Onion, ¼-inch Diced
  • 3 Qt Tomato Sauce, Prepared
  • 3 cups Memphis Style BBQ Sauce, Prepared
  • 3 lb Smoked Pork Shoulder, Prepared, Pulled
  • 3 Qt Bush’s Best® Easy Entrées® Texas Ranchero® Pinto Beans, Drained
  • 3 Tbsp Kosher Salt
  • 3 tsp Ground Black Pepper

Chili Platter

  • 2.25 cups Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
  • 4.25 Qt Creamy Coleslaw, Prepared
  • 3.75 lb Cornbread, Prepared, Reserved Warm, Buttered
  • 4.25 Qt Mac n' Cheese, Prepared, Reserved Warm

DIRECTIONS

  1. Add vegetable oil and bacon to a large pot or rondeau set over medium heat. Render bacon for 7 minutes, stirring periodically.
  2. Add yellow onion. Sauté over medium-high heat for 5 minutes or until onions are translucent. Add salt and pepper as needed.
  3. Add ground pork and break up into small pieces with a wooden spoon. Cook for 7 minutes.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce and BBQ sauce. Bring chili to a simmer over medium-high heat. Then, reduce heat to medium and fold in remaining ingredients and stir well.
  5. Cover and simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Salt and pepper to taste.
  6. For one portion, top 1 cup of chili with 1 Tbsp cheddar cheese. Serve with 1/2 cup of creamy coleslaw, 2 oz. cornbread, and 1/2 cup mac n' cheese.
