Avocado Hummus

You’ll have hearts racing and taste buds humming with this unique hummus of pureed Bush’s Best® Low Sodium Garbanzos and rich avocados accented with lime juice, garlic, and cilantro.

INGREDIENTS QUANTITY
Low Sodium Bush’s Best® Garbanzo Beans, drained and reserve liquid1 lb 1.8 oz
Bean liquid ½ cup
Tahini paste½ cup
Fresh lime juice¼ cup
Fresh lime zest1 tsp
Garlic cloves, crushed2 each
Cilantro, minced1 ½ Tbsp
Extra virgin olive oil¼ cup
Ripe avocado, cut in chunks 4 each
Salt and pepper TT

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to a food processor and purée until smooth. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  2. Hold in refrigerator with plastic wrap pressed down on the hummus.
